Malavika Nair is an Indian actress who has appeared in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She came into the limelight after her role in the Malayalam film Black Butterfly.

Malavika Nair was born on Monday, January 5, 1998 (24 years old in 2020) in Delhi. Soon after her birth, her family moved to Kerala. She attended school at Toc H Public School in Kochi and DAV School in New Delhi. She was a science student in 11th and 12th grade and dreamed of becoming an astronomer. She did her arts degree from St. Francis College for Girls in Begumpet, Hyderabad. Malavika excelled in sports during her school days.

Initially, she played small roles in films like “Ustad Hotel” and “Karmayodha”. She got her first lead role in the Malayalam film “Black Butterfly”, where she played “Reena” (a maid who suffers an acid attack). Next, she played a blind girl in the Tamil romantic drama “Cuckoo”.
