Malhar Patekar is an Indian actor and assistant director. He is the son of veteran actor Nana Patekar.

Malhar Patekar was born in Varsoli, Maharashtra.
He was educated at Modern English High School and Saraswati Mandir High School, Mumbai and went to DG Ruparel College, Mumbai for his Bachelor of Commerce. Malhar was very shy as a child. He was good at sports during his school days. Malhar has wanted to be a part of movies since he was a child. He spent a year working at Genesis Advertising Agency before moving into film production.

Malhar Patekar started his career as an assistant director with the film “Attacks of 26/11” under the direction of director Ram Gopal Verma. Later, he went to assist his father in the filming of the sequel “Ab Tak Chappan”.
In 2013, he starred in the Bollywood movie “The Little Godfather”. Patekar also played a small role in the film Prahal: The Last Attack (1991). After this, his father started his own production company and Malhar worked as a producer under the banner of Nanasaheb Production House. Apart from acting and directing, he is an active philanthropist and is associated with Naam Foundation.
