Jenna Lyons may have given her underwear The Real Housewives of New York castmates — but she also apparently gave the gift to their significant others, too, according to Rebecca Minkoff!
Minkoff spoke to PEOPLE at the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards on Oct. 28 and gushed about her recent debut on the Bravo show, saying she’s “excited” to join the cast and be the recipient of Lyons’ famous underwear gift.
“I was like, ‘I hope there’s something that fits my huge chest,’ but she was great. I love it. It’s really sexy,” Minkoff said of the gift-giving episode, which aired earlier this month.
How did the new pieces go at home? Well, let’s just say it went really well, very good.
“My husband really appreciates Jenna,” Minkoff said of what her husband of 15 years, Gavin Bellour, said.

Minkoff, who attended the stylish event with influencer Tinx, presented by Amazon Fashion in New York, also told PEOPLE that she “bonded” with the entire cast.
“This is a real bonding experience, being friends and then all the time we spend together. I kind of love them all,” she said.

Minkoff, who founded her eponymous brand with her brother Uri Minkoff in 2005, and her husband have four children – daughter Bowie, 10, as well as sons Leonard, 20 months, Nic, 6, and Luca, 13. The fashion designer opened at New York Fashion Week in September about balancing her work and family life, telling the story of a difficult conversation she had with her daughter in 2018 that helped them both make sense of it all — even when her daughter was young.
At the MomCozy event, she said the family was on vacation and she got stuck working when she shouldn’t have been and her daughter told her she wasn’t a “good mom,” which she admitted hurt her, but turned into a lesson for them.
I just said, ‘I’m sorry I’m not a good mom. I need five more days and I’ll show up for you, but here’s what’s going on.'”
“I just explained to her, these are sometimes things that are out of my control that I have to do. And I just want you to look at what it does for our family as well,” she said. “And so I always, every time I say, ‘Oh, you’re leaving again.’ You just say, ‘Do you like it? Can we buy organic food, so give it some time.’
