Mama June Shannon Says Family Has Not Disturbed the Chair Where Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell Spent Her Final Days

Mum June Shannon is mourning the loss of her eldest daughter Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell and is urging fans to pay their respects ahead of her funeral later this week.

Shannon, 44, announced Cardwell’s death on Instagram on Sunday. In a TikTok video posted on Monday, she revealed that the family will hold visiting hours for the 29-year-old on Wednesday at Williams White-Columns Funeral Home in Gordon, Georgia.

Cardwell, who appeared alongside her mom and sister Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson in the TLC film Little children and tiaras and Here comes Honey Boo Boohe died 11 months after being diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal cancer.

“I know it looks like a mess, but my mind is so emotionally and mentally worried right now,” Shannon told her followers.

The Mama June: A family in crisis star also described how things at home have felt different since Cardwell’s death.

“It’s so quiet here, the machines aren’t working,” Shannon said. “She’s not sitting here watching cookery shows and it’s just so quiet. The chair she was on, you know, no one is sitting in it right now because it has a blanket and a pillow that she used and she died there.”

Shannon added that she doesn’t know “how to describe the pain” she felt after her daughter’s death, but insisted that Cardwell would want her fans to be part of the grieving process.

“Anna wouldn’t have it any other way, any other way, but let me just tell you,” the mother of four continued. “So the fans can say goodbye to her, we decided as a family, because she wanted us to go live here on TikTok, on social media, but we don’t.”

The hour of visitation will continue with what Shannon described as a “short but amazing service” in honor of Cardwell, who was the mother of daughters Kaitlyn Elizabeth, born in 2012, and Kylee Madison, born in 2015.

“We’re doing something for her, and it’s going to be Tina dancing with her as one of her last things,” Shannon said, referring to the signature moves Bob’s hamburgers character Tina Belcher. “As you know, that bitch loved to dance Tina for you on the couch – no, sorry, on the bed. So many times, you will love it. And when she was actually in a state of sleep, she couldn’t anymore after chemotherapy, you’re going to miss that.”

Shannon then asked fans to help Cardwell’s account reach 1 million followers before Wednesday.

“Let’s get Anna out with a freaking bang, honey, before Wednesday,” she said, noting that she felt Cardwell supported that cause. “I’m getting goosebumps right now because Anna is sitting there fucking next to me and she’s like, ‘Mom, let’s go!'”

When Shannon posted a TikTok video on her Instagram account on Monday, she repeated the request and thanked fans for their support in the caption.

“We want you all to join us if you can because Anna wouldn’t want it any other way,” Mama June: The Road to Redemption the star wrote. “Also, let’s get her Instagram to 1 million before Wednesday and along with her TikTok she will be tagged in my video there. We love you guys. We thank everyone who sent good wishes, sent their prayers and everything for everyone, not just for us before her children.”
