Manava started her acting career playing the role of Anushka Joshi in Marathi Alpha TV’s Marathi serial Abhalmaya from 1999 to 2001. In 2002, she played the role of Saguna in StarPlus’ popular TV show Khichdi. In 2005, she played the role of computer expert Neha Nayar in StarPlus’ popular detective TV series “Special Squad”. From 2005 to 2007, she played the role of Dimple in the StarPlus comedy series “Baa Bahoo Aur Baby”. In 2007, she played the role of Manjeet Mahesh Gheewala in the television show Teen Bahuraaniyaan on Zee TV for a period of two years. She played the role of Manava Vaibhav Limaye in the Marathi television show Tuza Maza Jamena, which premiered on Zee Marathi in 2013.

Manava made her Bollywood debut with Jodha Akbar (2008), in which she played Neelakshi, Jodha’s servant. She made her Marathi debut in 2010 in Kshanbhar Vishranti, in which she played the role of Neha. She is the protagonist of the Marathi film Langar, playing the role of Malan. The movie was released in 2012. In Pindadaan, a Marathi romantic film released in 2016, Manava played the role of Ruhi. She is also the director of a Marathi film Por Bazaar (2014).

In 2016, she starred in the movie “Jaundya Na Balasaheb”, playing the role of Urmi. In 2022, Manava acted in the historical film Shivpratap Garudjhep, in which she played the role of Soyra Bai (the second wife of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj). Later, she appeared in many Marathi films such as Fakt Ladh Mhana (2011), No Entry Pudhe Dhoka Aahey (2012), Candle March (2014) and Dhinchak Enterprise (2016).
