Since her birth, Mandy Harvey had steadily lost her hearing. Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), “a collection of uncommon genetic disorders that impair connective tissue,” was identified as the woman’s disease.
Mandy went on to say that she developed despair as a result of her hearing loss. Her hearing was compromised by EDS, which also led to a number of surgically necessary issues.
