It was not immediately clear if Moore’s personal home was destroyed, but her community was undoubtedly destroyed.

She followed up her initial Stories post with another Instagram post in which she expressed gratitude for her family’s safety and described the devastation she witnessed.

“Grateful that my family and pets got out last night before it was too late (and endless thanks to my friends for taking us in and bringing us clothes and blankets),” she wrote. “Honestly, I’m in shock and feel numb for all that so many have lost, including my family.”

She continued: “My children’s school is gone. Our favorite restaurants, leveled to the ground. So many friends and loved ones have also lost everything. Our community is broken, but we will be here to rebuild it together. Sending love to all those affected and on the front lines trying to get this under control.”

Moore previously shared via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday that she and her family had evacuated and did not know if their house survived.
