Maneesha Subramaniam is an Indian radio jockey, actor and singer who worked in the Malayalam film industry. On March 26, 2023, she participated in the fifth season of the reality television show Bigg Boss Malayalam.

Maneesha Kandan Subramaniam was born on October 12, in Perambra, Thrissur district, Karnataka, India. Her zodiac sign is Libra. Maneesha completed her schooling from St. Augustine Girls’ High School, Muvathupuzha, Kerala. Thereafter, she studied at Vimala College in Thrissur, Kerala. In 1990, she enrolled in Masoma College for Girls in Perumbavoor, Kerala, where she pursued matriculation courses. While studying at the college, she performed Kadhaprasangam (a lyrical narrative or storytelling performance) and represented the college at various events.

After completing her formal education, Maneesha Subramaniam moved to Dubai where she started working as a radio jockey. Thereafter, she worked as RJ in East Coast Vijayan, Malayalam Film Producer and Lyricist and KPK Vengara. Maneesha is one of the founding members of Asianet Radio, a Malayalam language radio network based in Dubai. After working in Dubai for over eleven years, Maneesha returned to India and started working at All India Radio (AIR) in Thrissur. There, she secured a B-high in the Lalitha Gana category and a B-grade in the drama dubbing category. AIR’s rating system is based on the quality of RJ’s performance.
