Margaret Qualley Talks ‘Amazing’ Wedding to Jack Antonoff and Life as Newlyweds in New Jersey

Margaret Qualley is still on cloud nine after marrying Jack Antonoff.

The Maidservant actress, 29, who appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon had nothing but good things to say on Thursday when asked about her August wedding.

“You married our friend Jack Antonoff. Was it everything you dreamed of? Was it that much fun?” Fallon asked her, to which she replied with a laugh, “Yes.”

“It was the best day of my life. It was incredible. It was so much fun.”

Fallon then asked about the bride and groom’s dancing skills at their reception and noted that Antonoff, 39, “isn’t much of a dancer,” while Qualley can clarify that.

“He can relax,” Qualley said of Antonoff, adding, “I don’t think he’s intimidated by my dance moves, you know he’s more [of] shoulder dancer, if you know what I mean.” Then she started imitating his dance by moving her shoulders up and down.

Qualley also talked about his new life with Antonoff in New Jersey.

“I love it a lot,” Qualley said of the Garden State. “I don’t understand what’s not to love. You have the beach, you have the farms, and you’re just so close to the city.”

Added Fallon: “I’m laughing my head off because at one point you said, ‘Jimmy, you should move to our neighborhood in Brooklyn,'” he said. “And then you’ve moved away now… I’d have to come with you to New Jersey,” to which Qualley agreed.

Qualley and her music producer husband tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony in New Jersey last year where Taylor Swift, Channing Tatum, Zoë Kravitz, Cara Delevingne and Lana Del Rey were in attendance.

The couple went public with their romance in early 2022, making their debut as a couple at the AFI Awards luncheon in March before attending the Critics’ Choice Awards.

Qualley later shared a few photos from their night with the simple caption, “Date Night.” She also supported Antonoff at the 2022 Grammy Awards, where he was up for Album of the Year for his work on Taylor Swift’s Evermore.

The music producer previously spoke about what the couple’s wedding means to him during an appearance on Late night with Seth Meyers in December.

“Someone told me that when you die and when you get married is the only time when everyone you love is in the room,” Antonoff said. so I don’t mind if the attention is on me.’ And then as soon as it started, my whole body got wet.”

He then added: “I’m looking for jokes, but it was really nice.”
