The self-proclaimed “Queen of Christmas” revealed on Wednesday’s episode Show Jennifer Hudson her favorite Christmas movies and songs — besides her hits “All I Want For Christmas Is You” and “Oh Santa!”
“My favorite Christmas song of all time is Nat King Cole’s version [The] Christmas carol — that’s my favorite,” Carey (54) told host Jennifer Hudson, who noted, “That was my grandmother’s favorite.”
The singer added that she “doesn’t allow anyone to listen to anything.” but Christmas music” when she celebrates the holiday — and even “movies have to be related to Christmas”.

Mariah Carey confirms she’s working on new music: ‘It’s exciting’
“Do you have a favorite Christmas movie?” Hudson asked.
“Well, I love it Dwarf. I have to say it – Carey revealed. “And then I like it Miracle on 34th Street, the original one. He is older, but he has something in him.”
Hudson noted that it was her own favorite Home alone. “Yes, everyone loves it Home alone!” Carey said.
However, the Christmas spirit of the “Emotions” singer is not only about music and movies. Carey said she also likes to make sure her home feels like the holidays, and that includes multiple Christmas trees throughout the home.

Mariah Carey continues to be the star of Christmas in Victoria’s Secret’s new holiday campaign
“In the main part of the house there will be a beautiful, tall Christmas tree with gold and silver – not real gold,” explained Carey. “Then I have a smaller tree with colorful lights, like a Charlie Brown tree, with some decorations that my fans made for me and stuff like that.”
She said she and her family also take “little Polaroid pictures” and “put them on the tree” — and even cook for the holidays, even though “nobody believes me.”
“I cook Italian food on the 23rd because my father had a recipe for linguine with white clam sauce that he left me before he passed away. It’s really good,” said the five-time Grammy winner. “I do that and a few other things.”
“I make a traditional Christmas dinner and help out. I’m not there and I’m not doing everything myself. I won’t say that. But I add some spice,” Carey added with a laugh.
