Mario Lopez was saved by makeup with seriously high coverage.
On Tuesday, the TV personality and actor, 50, revealed he had suffered a ‘fractured’ eye during what appeared to be intense jiu jitsu training.
The Saved by the bell The alum posted several selfies on Instagram showing off his injury, which included a bruised eye and what appeared to be facial swelling.
However, Lopez didn’t let his chubby appearance get in the way of his televised appearance later in the day. In another photo, he was seen on set looking like new.
“A little makeup magic and that’s it… we’re back on TV!” he wrote in the title of his post.
The Access to Hollywood the star definitely knows a thing or two about makeup. Earlier this year, he teamed up with elf Cosmetics to help launch a limited edition Sticky Shop brand inspired by the viral Power Grip Primer.

The family of five recently celebrated Thanksgiving, and Lopez took to Instagram with a video showing how the five love to embody the holiday spirit.
“We really don’t have anything but obviously we’re all together as a family,” Lopez said of his Thanksgiving tradition, adding that they either spend time at his home, “Casa Lopez,” or at his sister Marissa Wong’s house.

“We’re just making sure we’re all together,” he added, demonstrating with an adorable photo of the family of five dressed in PJs and huddled together in one bed.
They like to treat themselves to classic turkey, as well as Italian and Mexican dishes, and there is also a lot of “good drink” and “good movies”.
And when it comes to style, the couple agrees on one thing: “We’re in sweatpants. We don’t dress up,” Courtney revealed about her household’s holiday dress code.
