Karma is a cat that now belongs to Mariska Hargitay!
In an Instagram post on Thursday, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit star (59) introduced her new cat whose name was inspired by Taylor Swift’s hit single “Karma”.
“Karma is a cat @taylorswift Meet Karma. My cat.🐱 #MeAndKarmaVibeLikeThat #AndIKeepMySideOfMyPawClean #KarmaIsACat,” Hargitay captioned the post, which included references to the song’s lyrics.

The post included a photo of a cat resting on a bed and an adorable close-up of her licking a paw. Hargitay’s colleague Ryan Buggle wrote in the comments: “Please bring this baby to work.” But Wentworth added, “My furry niece!”
Fans declared that Hargitay is “actually the biggest Taylor flat” and noted that her cat’s name “makes sense considering Taylor named her cat Olivia Benson.”
Olivia is one of the pop star’s three beloved cats, which she introduced in 2014. Swift shared a video of Hargitay meeting the cat in 2015 and shared that things are “going well.”
Hargitay and Swift (33) have spoken publicly about their friendship. The actress appeared in Swift’s 2015 music video “Bad Blood.” After the video won Video of the Year at the 2015 Video Music Awards, Hargitay congratulated Swift in a sweet Instagram post.

When the contractor is declared one of TimeAmong the 100 most influential people of that year, Hargitay also wrote a short essay. The singer is “a megawatt talent, an extraordinary spirit, an incredibly charming mix of mischievousness, poise and brilliance,” Hargitay wrote.

Hargitay recently showed her love for the artist by sharing snaps from her time at the Eras Tour’s Los Angeles stop.

The post included photos with Savannah Guthrie and a caption in which Hargitay described the concert as “the most magical night.” When Eras Tour concert film hit theaters, Hargitay showed her support by attending its premiere in Los Angeles with her daughter Amaya Josephine.
