‘Freaky Friday’ Cast: Where Are They Now?

The Everything everywhere and at once the star, 65, has made no secret of his desire to see the much-loved film again.

Earlier this month, Curtis hinted as much Crazy Friday war could be on the horizon when he reunites with his co-star Lindsay Lohan, who played Tessa’s daughter Anna in the first film.

Alongside a smiley selfie of the pair he shared on Instagram, Curtis wrote: “Too late. YOU GROWN UP AND SO GORGEOUS! Well, it’s Friday and the strike is over so hopefully we can trade seats again in the near future! @lindsaylohan @disney.”

Meanwhile, in a joint interview in May with The New York Times in honor of the film’s 20th anniversary, Lohan, 37, confirmed that both she and Curtis are open to the possibility of making a sequel, but are “leaving it up to them.”

“We would only make something that people would absolutely love,” she added.

Months earlier, Curtis also told Diversity sequel, “It will happen. Without saying anything is officially happening, I’m looking at you right now and saying, ‘Of course it’s going to happen.’ It will happen.”

What the next film could look like, Curtis revealed during an appearance on View in October 2022 that she would love to play a “body-switching old granny” with Lohan.

“So Lindsay becomes a sexy grandma who is still happy with Mark Harmon in all the ways you would be happy with Mark Harmon,” the actress said. “And it’s just, I’d like to see Lindsay as a hot grandma and I’d like to see how I try to handle little kids today.”

“I want to be a helicopter parent in today’s world, like an old lady,” she joked.
