Less is more when it comes to sex for Marlon Wayans.
“I don’t need all that circus point. I really appreciate the simple things,” the 51-year-old actor and comedian tells PEOPLE in this week’s issue.
“Missionary — it’s great. I don’t need to swing from the ceiling and twist anything, because after we’re done, I can just go to sleep,” she continues.
According to Wayans, this view is “all part of getting older,” and he notes, “I’m really enjoying these years.”
“I’m just much more focused on the energy I bring to the stage. If I have time for anything else, God bless me,” adds the star, whose latest special, Good griefarrives on Prime Video on June 4.

Right now, Wayans says he’s not looking for a relationship or to settle down.
“I never wanted to get married. I didn’t want to get divorced,” he explains. “I don’t know if I was ready for marriage, and now I’m 51 and you get to this part of life when you say, ‘Yeah, I don’t have to go to the club.’ ”

Still, white girls and Scary Movie the star says he is open to the idea of finding someone to settle down with in the future.
“I won’t say no, put it that way,” he admits. “If the time is right, sure. I’m in no rush. I think sometimes you go through these things to find you, and I know exactly who I am. You just have to find the right combination.”
Wayans was in a long-term relationship with Angela Zackery from 1992 to 2013, and the couple shares two children, sons Kai and Shawn. He also shares daughter Axl, 18 months, with ex Brittany Moreland.

Marlon Wayans says he never married because he didn’t want his mother to be ‘jealous of another woman’
Earlier this month, Wayans said The New York Times that he never married because he was worried that his potential wife would affect his relationship with his mother, Elvira Althea.
“I never got married, because I never wanted my mother to be jealous of a woman. I never wanted my mother to feel different from any woman,” he explained to the outlet.
“I told my mother on her deathbed, ‘I never got married because I always wanted you to be my No. 1 girlfriend.’ Those were my last words I said, ‘Take it with you,'” he recalled his mother’s death in 2020 at the age of 81.
