Martha Stewart Recreates Audrey Hepburn's Iconic Hairstyle for Breakfast at Tiffany’s-Inspired Event

Martha Stewart pays tribute to an iconic movie star.

The lifestyle mogul found beauty inspiration in one of Audrey Hepburn’s most stylish characters: Breakfast at Tiffany’s Holly Golightly. Stewart hosted “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” with chef Daniel Boulud and businessman Lee Brian Schrager for the New York Food and Wine Festival (NYCWFF) on Friday, October 18.

The 83-year-old took to Instagram and shared in the caption that she had a “marathon day” after attending a breakfast event at Boulud’s Blue Box Café. “It was the most elegant affair,” she wrote before crediting the Zahir Ziani salon with “the best grooming in NYC or anywhere.”

Stewart’s hair replicated that of Hepburn’s character during the film’s opening scene when Holly casually eats cupcakes outside a jewelry store. Holly has an elegant updo with short bangs swept to the side and seamlessly secured in a twisted updo, with a diamond tiara — which Stewart also had.

Holly’s sleek hairstyle was paired with her elegant black satin dress, long black satin gloves, large tortoiseshell sunglasses and a Tiffany pearl necklace.

While Stewart opted for a different ensemble, she channeled a similarly sophisticated look. She wore a black turtleneck sweater, black leather pants, and large tortoiseshell sunglasses. Stewart’s look was completed with a pearl and diamond triangle necklace – which went well with her pearl earrings and diamond ring.

Nicole Daisy Toye created her glam look, which included a soft pink look, bright eye shadow, subtle rose pink blush and pink-nude lip gloss.

Stewart’s Oct. 18 Instagram post included several photos of herself at the Blue Box Café alongside co-hosts Boulud and Schrager and several other patrons.

Boulud’s cafe is “inspired by the iconic Tiffany heritage” and offers “a gloriously chic Breakfast at Tiffany’s, enchanting Afternoon Tea at Tiffany’s and our luxuriously casual all-day dining with a delicate French touch” inside the flagship location, 727 5th Ave New York, NY, according to the official website .

Last October, Stewart honored Hepburn at a similar event for the NYCWFF. At the 2023 event, she wore black leather gloves, a black bell-sleeve midi dress and large black sunglasses, a pearl and diamond necklace and Hepburn’s signature updo.
