Martha Stewart is especially generous when it comes to her Halloween treats!
The lifestyle entrepreneur, 83, revealed she offers “an assortment of sweets” and “a bit of money” to pranksters during a chat with Vogue on Friday, October 18.
“I live on a farm now, so the door is always decorated and the security guard has to open the door for kids playing pranks,” she said. “I usually give the kids a variety of candy — plenty of candy inside — in a bag and some cash.”
Stewart did not define how “low cash” is.
Despite her house being the place to be for Halloween, she admits she’s “never home” on the holiday so she doesn’t see how many tricks she actually gets.
“I’m trying to be out there,” Stewart notes.

As for her favorite Halloween memories, Stewart says DIY crafts and school parades come to mind first.
“We used to make lanterns from a cardboard box – you cut out a lantern, stick orange and black silk paper on the side over the holes and put a candle in it, a real candle,” she told the newspaper.
“He’d walk it in the Halloween parade to school, where we’d all gather down the playground, and in the middle of the playground we’d throw our beautiful pumpkin boxes, as I’d call them, down into the pool.”
Stewart also revealed her number one tip for throwing an amazing Halloween party: “Don’t be cheesy. A small lantern on the table — that’s not exactly a Halloween gesture. I think you have to try.”
