McDonald’s launches new Twix LatteCredit: Sunce
McDonald’s changes its menu regularly and had planned to notify customers next week of the new items – but the update dropped earlier than expected.
A new menu item that has never been a flavor before is the twix latte.
The coffee-based drinks have Twix-flavored syrup topped with caramel cream and chocolate chips on top.
A medium cup of the sweet chocolate drink will set you back £2.69 and a large will set you back £3.29.
The burger and fries giant will be bringing back several fan favorites, including Mozzarella Dippers and the Philly Cheese Stack.
Other popular returning treats include the Chicken Big Mac, Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry and Twix Chocolate McFlurry.
The new menu goes into effect on September 4, and that’s when McDonald’s popular Monopoly game returns.
It has been a long time since the home of the Golden Arches renewed its offer of hot drinks.
Currently, there are only two other latte options available, the caramel flavored one and the regular milk latte.
It comes just days after McDonald’s said it would launch the rare drink in the UK for the first time.
The Grimace Shake is purple in color and contains blueberry flavored syrup mixed with a creamy milkshake base.
The drink is inspired by the fast food chain’s purple Grimace mascot, which was first introduced in the 1970s.
The fictional character was initially an evil character who stole milkshakes from customers.
However, it was later renamed to a more friendly cartoon.
It will be available for purchase in stores for a week starting August 28th.
The shake costs £2.69 for the medium size, while the large version of the shake is £2.99, although prices may vary by location.
The drink is already available in the US – and it’s a fan on social media.
It launched in the US last June as a limited edition menu item and then in Canada last May.

How to save money at McDonald’s
You might not think so, but you could end up being charged more based solely on the McDonald’s restaurant you choose.
Research by The Sun found that a Big Mac meal can be up to 30p cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart.
In the meantime, you can grab a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 by completing the feedback survey found on every old McDonald’s receipt.
The payment receipt should come with a 12-digit code that you can enter on the Food for Thought website with your submitted survey.
You will then receive a five digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.
Be sure to check out all the different apps and platforms if you’re ordering McDonald’s to your home, too.
Our research has shown that some can charge up to £1.20 more than others.
