Meenal Saahu is an Indian actor, dancer and model who mainly appears in Hindi and Tamil films. She is known for her role as Mumtaz in the Hindi gangster thriller web series Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu (2021), which aired on ZEE5 and ALTBalaji.

She attended Krishna Public School, Raipur. Meenal has loved dancing since she was a child and her mother enrolled her in Bharatnatyam classes when she was in sixth grade. Later, she received training in various dance forms. Growing up, she dreamed of becoming a model. When Meenal was in class 11, she started tutoring students in junior classes in Raipur. Although Meenal got admission in KC College, Mumbai after completing her 12th class, her father did not allow her to move to Mumbai at such a young age. Meanwhile, her father was transferred to Delhi, where Minal completed his studies. While in college, Minal began belly dancing with Mehar Malik. She even joined a theater group and performed in several plays. However, this did not work out. Soon, she moved to Mumbai to pursue postgraduate studies at Himak Dawar Institute of Performing Arts.

At the same time, she auditioned for a few TV commercials, but failed miserably. Minard then attended several acting workshops to learn the art of acting.
