Irtiza Rubab (Meera) is a Pakistani actress, model, television host and humanitarian. She is best known for her work as an actress in Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi films and plays. She made her Bollywood debut in Nazar (2005) opposite Ashmit Patel. She won the Nigar Award twice in her lifetime for her stunning acting in the Urdu films Khilona (1996) and Inteha (1999). She is a critically acclaimed actress who received the Pride of Acting Award from the Government of Pakistan in 2012.

Meera was born as Irtiza Rubab on Thursday, May 12, 1977, in Sheikhupura, Punjab, Pakistan (age 45; as of 2022). Mera is her stage name. She graduated from Kinnad College for Women, Lahore, Pakistan. While studying, her diligent involvement in theater led her to pursue acting as a career. Meera started her acting career in 1995 with the Urdu film Kanta. She has appeared in more than 60 films. She made her Bollywood debut with the film Nazar (2005). She has also appeared in several TV series, the most famous of which is Mein Sitara (2016). In an interview with Geo News, Mehra claimed that she had an affair with Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar, but the cricketer never admitted it. Mera talked about this in an interview and said:

Shoaib later denied the allegations and said he never had any romantic relationship with the actress. In an interview with Geo News, Meera revealed that Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi once proposed to her but she refused due to family reasons. She also revealed that Bollywood film producer Mahesh Bhatt had suggested her to marry Bollywood actor Ashmit Patel, but she rejected his suggestion due to differences in religious beliefs. Furthermore, she said in an interview that she hopes to marry Bollywood star Salman Khan and if the Dabangg star proposed to her, it would be difficult for her to refuse his proposal.

In 2010, Mira filed a lawsuit against Sheikh Atiq-ul-Rehman, a businessman from Faisalabad who claimed to be her husband. She has been entangled in this case for seven years. According to Lehman, they married in a private ceremony in 2007. He produced a marriage certificate and some photos as evidence, but Meera denied all these claims. Meera’s alleged husband, Rehman, filed an application against Meera when she revealed that her parents accepted a proposal from Naveed Shehzad, a Pakistani-American airline captain and family friend. He said Mira could not marry anyone else before divorcing him because it was against Islamic law.
