MiraIrtiza Rubab (Meera) is a Pakistani actress, model, television host and humanitarian. She is best known for her work as an actress in Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi films and plays. She made her Bollywood debut in Nazar (2005) opposite Ashmit Patel. She won the Nigar Award twice in her lifetime for her stunning acting in the Urdu films Khilona (1996) and Inteha (1999). She is a critically acclaimed actress who received the Pride of Acting Award from the Government of Pakistan in 2012.

Meera was born as Irtiza Rubab on Thursday, May 12, 1977, in Sheikhupura, Punjab, Pakistan (age 45; as of 2022). Mera is her stage name. She graduated from Kinnad College for Women, Lahore, Pakistan. While studying, her diligent involvement in theater led her to pursue acting as a career. Meera started her acting career in 1995 with the Urdu film Kanta. She has appeared in more than 60 films. She made her Bollywood debut with the film Nazar (2005). She has also appeared in several TV series, the most famous of which is Mein Sitara (2016). In addition to acting in films and television, Meera made her directorial debut with the Pakistani film Oscar (2016).
