Megan Thee Stallion has one small request for Beyoncé.
The Grammy-winning rapper, 29, appeared in the latest episode of Instagram Only close friends podcast this week with good friend GloRilla, where she snapped a photo of herself with collaborator Beyoncé, 42, to ask about her inner circle on the social media platform.

“Beyoncé, if you have close friends, could you please put me and Glo in it?” she asked innocently, while GloRilla, 25, jokingly said: “Please!”
The latter shared that she actually has a global icon in her circle of close friends, prompting Megan to jokingly say, “Delulu.” GloRilla laughed and added, “Shawty delusional who—! I know she’ll never see it, but I have her in my close friends.”

Before GloRilla’s revelation, she and Megan bonded over their shared love of Beyoncé. The Memphis rapper said she was “nerdy” when she first met Queen Bey, while Megan couldn’t pinpoint her memory of their first meeting.
“I don’t know, talking about Beyoncé still makes me nervous,” she admitted. “Like Beyoncé is actually, like Beyoncé. Your mom named you Beyoncé because she knew you were going to be that girl. She knew there wouldn’t be another Beyoncé on the planet.”
The “Mamushi” rap star added, “I don’t know, I just love Beyoncé… When was the first time I met her? I can’t even tell you the first time because I just feel like now it’s great because I’ve seen Beyoncé a few times.”

GloRilla shared that she’s just as thrilled about her past interactions with Beyoncé, saying, “I get so scared. I’ve met her twice and, bitch, every time I feel like I’m leaving my body and going to heaven.”
“I’m literally obsessed with Beyoncé,” added Megan, who responded, “You can’t talk bad about Beyoncé in front of me because, bitch, you might not get away with it. Because if you talk bad about Beyoncé, you’re really just a hater like you really are a hater .”

Both Megan and GloRilla have had the pleasure of connecting with Beyoncé on different occasions. The former famously teamed up with her for their 2020 remix of “Savage,” which earned the rapper two of her first three Grammys and Beyoncé’s 28th overall — making her the top Grammy winner of all time.
Meanwhile, GloRilla caught up with the superstar during the 2023 Grammys and 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards “Yeah Glo!” the rapper detailed their encounter in the latter on the Pivot podcast back in April, explaining that she had just presented an award to TLC when she walked past Beyoncé’s room.

“I thought, ‘Oh s—!’ I was a little afraid,” she recalled. “They asked if they could talk to Beyoncé, and she let me into her room. I said, ‘Ahhhh!’ And always be good to me, I feel that she loves me as much as I love her!
GloRilla added: “Every time I meet her I get super geeky. I love Beyoncé.”

GloRilla and Megan are fresh off the latter’s Hot Girl Summer headline tour, which wrapped up in London on July 17. It seems the “Wanna Be” duo have grown closer since hitting the road together, as Megan wished her rap collaborator a special happy birthday last month.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE FATEST YOU ALIVE🔥🔥🔥🔥,” she wrote in an Instagram post featuring a series of photos of the couple. “I can’t believe I don’t see you every day anymore, it’s a weird feeling 😂😂😂 I miss you, I love you, I hope you try for me in Jamaica lol.
