Meghan Markle is not afraid to have a little fun for her favorite company with a latte.
The Duchess of Sussex appeared in a video posted on Clevr’s Instagram page on Tuesday. The instant latte brand teased Meghan’s look, writing in the caption: “Damn, you’re keeping us busy! We had to call in backup đŸ‘€.”
The video began with Clevr co-founder Hannah Mendoza welcoming viewers to “Clevr HQ” as she toured the company’s many departments.

“I want to give a big shout out to our amazing Clevr team here at headquarters. We’re nothing without them,” Mendoza said as she introduced the “fulfillment crew” who packed the boxes.
As she joked that the team “listened to Britney [Spears] on loop since 2019,” the video zoomed in to show Meghan working with the group.
Mendoza was then seen sitting in an office as she introduced the “very smart, just a little nerdy digital team.” Meghan worked at the desk behind Mendoza, wearing glasses and dressed in business casual.
As Mendoza walked outside to introduce “the glue that holds us all together,” Meghan was seen again, this time handing Mendoza a drink from the fridge, and was later shown greeting a member of the team.
In addition to being a fan of the brand that began as a “pop-up adaptogenic coffee bar in 2016,” according to the website, Meghan is also a private investor.

In a 2020 press release, Meghan said the investment “supports a passionate entrepreneur who prioritizes building community alongside her work.”
“I am proud to invest in Hannah’s commitment to sourcing ethical ingredients and creating products that I personally love and that take a holistic approach to wellness. I believe in her and I believe in her company,” her statement added.
In an Instagram post in February, Mendoza reflected on the investment’s positive impact on her company.
“Three years ago that all changed. None other than Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, started drinking our milk lattes. Not only did she love the product, but she was extremely passionate about supporting the founders, our sustainable sourcing and our fair-trade food back “, she said.
Mendoza recognized Meghan as the company’s first investor and “advisor and biggest advocate for Clevr.”
