Meri Brown finds inspiration after her divorce from Kody Brown.
The Sister wives star, 52, posted an empowering message on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, hinting that she’s embracing time alone — and recognizing her worth — after ending her 32-year marriage to the reality TV patriarch, 54.
“Be so confident in what you bring to the table that you’re willing to eat alone until you find the right table,” the message reads.

Sister’s Wife’s Meri Brown Talks Jealousy in Polygamy: ‘I Thought I Was a Bad Person’ (Exclusive)
Meri and Kody announced their split on Jan. 10 in a joint message posted on her Instagram page, writing, “After more than a decade of working on our relationship in our own unique ways, we have made the decision to permanently end our marriage.”
Last month, Meri told PEOPLE that jealousy was a factor in their split. “Every time you expand your family, there’s going to be a shift,” she explained. “You just have the logistical stuff, but you also have the emotional stuff. I’m a man. I will get jealous. He is a man. He won’t know how to deal with female jealousy.”
Since she and Kody went their separate ways, Meri has tackled this new chapter of her life with a bright, positive mindset. Earlier this month, she posted a series of photos of herself on Instagram, offering a glimpse of the fun she’s been up to lately.
“Bring joy, bring fun, bring success! Happiness is a good feeling!” she wrote in her caption.
Indeed, speaking to PEOPLE last month, Meri declared that “life is good,” while teasing some of the big things going on for her right now.
“I am successful in business. Another really exciting project awaits me. There are good people around me. I have a great support system,” she said. “Things are good.”
Sister’s Wife’s Christine says Kody kept Meri around for ‘years’ and stopped making ‘rooms’ for Janelle
In July, Meri shared some more thoughts on the new mindset she’s adopted since her divorce from Kody. She told her Instagram followers that she is focusing on “being present and being grateful for every life experience that has made me who I am.” She also said that she is “living her best and fullest life with intention and purpose.”
In her post, Meri touched on how the past year has been full of change and uncertainty for her, but she said she has “felt a shift lately as I move forward through it all and towards something…different.”
She hinted at more: “The details of the ‘different’ have yet to be fully revealed to me. In due course, I’m sure.”

Meri and Kody’s relationship ended around the same time Janelle Brown’s second wife left their polygamous marriage, which was chronicled on their TLC series. Christine Brown’s third wife had split from Kody a year earlier. Kody is now married to only Robyn Brown.
In Sunday’s episode Sister wives, Christine took a stand for Meri and called Kody out on his mistreatment of her and Janelle. “I saw Kody hooking up Meri for years,” Christine said on camera. “It was mean and cruel, and I saw he would have done the same thing to me if I had stayed.”
Christine also expressed her concern that Janelle, who felt torn about her decision to leave, would be drawn back in.
“She still loves him. She loves him,” she said in the confessional. “I don’t think Kody is going to change. I think Kody is going to be constantly running around Robyn and her life for the rest of his life, and I don’t think there’s any room in that life for Janelle.”
