The three-time Academy Award winner stepped out with her family for the 3rd Annual Academy Awards Gala at the Academy’s Motion Picture Museum in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
Streep (74) was accompanied by her four children with ex Don Gummer: son Henry Wolfe Gummer (44) plus daughters Mamie Gummer (40), Grace Gummer (37) and Louisa Jacobson (32). Henry’s wife Tamryn Gummer and Grace’s husband Mark Ronson were also in the glam evening out.
To celebrate their mother when she was presented with an Icon award, her children were dressed in glamorous black tie outfits. Her daughters, all actresses, wore black like their mother; from left, Grace wore a black long-sleeve dress, Mamie wore a Bevza number with slashes on the bodice, and Louisa wore a silver embroidered A-line dress with an Edie Parker clutch.

Meryl Streep and Don Gummer: Look back on their relationship through the years
The release comes six weeks after PEOPLE confirmed that Streep and the father of her children quietly ended the romantic nature of their relationship six years ago.
“Don Gummer and Meryl Streep have been separated for over 6 years, and while they will always care for each other, they have chosen to live separate lives,” Streep’s rep said in a statement to PEOPLE.
Streep and Gummer met through the actress’ brother in 1978, when she was mourning the death of her boyfriend of two years, actor John Cazale. Six months later, in September 1978, she and Gummer were married in the garden of her parents’ home. They went on to welcome Henry, Mamie, Grace and Louisa.
Although the couple has not been seen together in public since the 2018 Oscars, Sophie’s Choice the actress was seen wearing her wedding ring recently on October 20 at the 2023 Princesa de Asturias Awards in Spain.

Celebrity couples who quietly ended their relationships
In addition to being a mother of four, Streep is also a grandmother of five. Son Henry has two children with his wife Tamryn, while daughter Mamie is the mother of two children with her husband Mehar Sethi, and Grace has one child with her husband Ronson (48).
Streep recently opened up about a fun tradition she and her daughters have — namely, two specific movies they watch over and over again.
“Mean girls and Romy and Michele’s high school reunion “My house is mostly religious texts,” Streep said Vogue in a conversation published in September, mid Dear mother! 15th anniversary.
– These are the movies I watch the most with my girlfriends to this day – added the actress.
