Michael J. Fox and Wife Tracy Pollan Have a Date Night at National Board of Review Gala in New York City

Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan are going out in New York!

On Thursday, the 62-year-old actor and his actress wife appeared at the National Board of Review Awards in Manhattan, where his recent film Still: The story of Michael J. Fox won the award for the best documentary film of the evening.

Pollan, 63, wore a black column dress with a sheer hem and long sleeves, her blonde hair pulled back in a chic updo with tendrils framing her face on either side as the pair posed for photos together ahead of the ceremony.

Fox looked handsome in a navy blue suit with a lighter colored shirt and polka dot tie, with light facial hair and black and white trainers.

Fox and Pollan celebrated their 35th anniversary together in July 2023, when both actors shared sweet tributes to each other on their Instagram pages.

“35 years!!! Happy anniversary my love,” Pollan captioned her post, which featured a memory photo of the couple on vacation together. “Here’s to many more glorious adventures together. I couldn’t love you more.”

Fox himself shared a series of throwback photos of the couple on his own Instagram, captioning it: “35 years of laughing, living, listening and loving you @tracy.pollan. Thank you for everything. Forever yours, Mike.”

The longtime Hollywood couple first met in 1985 when they were cast as each other’s love interests on Family ties; at the time, they were both dating other people: fellow actors Nancy McKeon and Kevin Bacon. Fox and Pollan reunited on screen in the 1988 drama Bright lights, big citywhen both actors were single.

Fox proposed to Pollan on December 26, 1987, and the couple married on July 16, 1988, in Woodstock, Vermont. They have four children: son Sam (34), twin daughters Aquinnah and Schuyler (28) and 21-year-old daughter Esmé.

Fox’s recent documentary More examines his rise to fame in Hollywood in the 1980s and his decades-long struggle with Parkinson’s disease. He was diagnosed at the age of 29 in 1991.

In November, Back to future the star is during an appearance on CBS Morning. “She showed me by saying, for better or for worse, in sickness or in health,” he explained. “She was able to get me through it, and go through it with me. And she’s been doing it for 35 years.”

“We knew the bus was coming and we knew it was going to hit, but we didn’t know how far it was or how fast it was going,” Fox added at the time. “At any moment, she would be forgiven for saying, ‘I’m just going out.’ But she didn’t.”
