Phelps adds another guppy to the family!

Michael Phelps and wife Nicole Johnson are expecting their fourth child together, she announced on Instagram in a sweet anniversary post on Monday.

The couple – who have been married since 2016 and have sons Boomer, 7, Beckett, 5, and Maverick, 3 – posed for a hot photo at a recent NFL game where Johnson showed off her baby bump.

The mom-of-four shared a snap on Instagram to celebrate their new arrival, as well as their seventh year as husband and wife.

“For those wondering… yes! We’re expecting our fourth Phelps in 2024 💙💙💙💙,” Johnson wrote alongside a carousel of images.

The photo collection, Johnson wrote, contained seven years of memories from the exact date of Oct. 29 — from family portraits to nature walks as a couple to their wedding ceremony in Mexico that marked the beginning of their growing family in October 2016.

“Happy anniversary to my best friend, husband and life partner ❤️,” she wrote. – I couldn’t have wished for anything better!

In the cover photo taken at State Farm Stadium in Arizona, Johnson showed off her baby bump while wearing a Baltimore Ravens jersey with her husband by her side.

The announcement comes a month after the Olympian posted his own Instagram carousel, which featured pictures of him and his wife on the sidelines of a USC game, as well as a shot of them with their kids in front Paw patrol movie poster. “What a weekend!!!” he captioned the post.

Phelps and Johnson first met in 2007, and have since celebrated several milestones as a duo. In 2022, they toasted the first day of school for two of their little ones. “First day of kindergarten for the Booms and first day of pre-school for Becks at the same school 🥺🥺 #theyregrowingup,” Johnson captioned the photo on Instagram.

When Phelps was inducted into the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Hall of Fame last June, his family also showed support. Their three sons were present, wearing the same black suits, white polo shirts and white trainers.

“What a night!!! Humbled and honored to be inducted into the United States Olympic and Paralympic HOF,” Phelps wrote on Instagram after the ceremony.

“Thank you to everyone who voted for me🙏🙏Congratulations to my other classmates. Class of 2022!!!”

In 2021, Phelps and Johnson opened up to PEOPLE about parenting, with Phelps explaining how his sons “talk about their emotions.”

“It gives me a lot of hope. I just want them to be as prepared as possible,” he said at the time.

“We don’t hide from emotion,” Johnson added. “We teach them that mom or dad has a moment and we need to give them space or ask them if they want a hug. And that taught them to have permission to let their feelings be heard as well.”
