Michael Strahan pays tribute to his mom on her birthday.
On Tuesday, the former New York Giants defensive end, 52, celebrated his mother Louise’s big day with a sweet Instagram post that offered a glimpse into her festivities.
“Happy birthday to my mom!! So much fun celebrating you! Mom got a spa day and a great meal!! I love you, Lou!! ❤️,” he captioned the post, which began with a video of him and other loved ones singing happy birthday to Louise around a table as she was presented with a cake topped with six candles.
“It’s a German chocolate cake!” Louise noticed the sweet snack which had the chocolate words ‘Happy Birthday Mum’ written on it.
The clip is accompanied by a shot of a smiling Strahan and his mom posing in an embrace, as well as a shot of her giving her gifts and flowers.

The Good morning America The co-host also shared a look at the delicious spread of food the group were preparing for Louise’s birthday dinner.
This is not the first time Strahan has honored his mother on her birthday. Last year, the TV personality also wished her “beautiful mum” a happy birthday on Instagram and shared a number of memories of the pair together, including from his time with the Giants.
“You were always a solid rock full of love and hugs,” he wrote. “I’m the luckiest man in the world to call you my mom and I hope you feel as much love as you give on your birthday!! I love you Lou!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Ps next time I’ll let you win at cards.”

Strahan’s celebrations for his mother come after his daughter Isabella tearfully marked her final day of radiation therapy after being diagnosed with a brain tumor at the base of her skull in October.
On Tuesday, the student and model, 19, shared the third part of her YouTube series about her health journey, including the completion of her radiation. “I’m so excited to finally be done,” she said in the clip.

“It’s been a long six weeks and I’m so happy that I’m finally on the mend after all of this because the side effects and everything else is taking a toll,” she continued.
In an emotional video, Isabella documented her last day of radiation at New York’s Proton Center and could be seen ringing the bell to end treatment as family and staff clapped and cheered.
