A PHOTO of what appears to be a headless dog has gone viral on social media, but there’s more to the story.
The image of the mascot is actually an optical illusion.

“This is what a three legged dog looks like licking its tail,” one Twitter user shared the image. He said in Portuguese.
Now you’ve seen it all.
The shocking optical illusion was created while the owner was trying to take a normal photo of a dog that had recently had one of its front legs amputated.
But just as the owner fired, the dog turned to lick itself.
That’s why a dog’s surgical scar appears to be where the animal’s head should be.
But many were still confused by the image.
“Still can’t figure it out,” said one commenter on Twitter.
“How do you eat?” someone asked under a video on Facebook discussing the image.
“That’s not even funny or cute,” said another commenter.
Another Twitter user shared a photo of the dog sitting up normally.
The small black and brown dog has large floppy ears and large brown eyes.
But this pup is not the only animal that managed to create an optical illusion.
Only those with perfect eyesight can see the hidden little turtle in this video of the animal’s habitat.
Iggy the Tortoise (@iggythetortoise) has nearly 2,000 followers on TikTok.
But he asked for some privacy while filming this video.
The turtle hides in one of its small caves.
The cat also did a great job of hiding from her human in this photo.
If viewers look closely, they should be able to see the kitty hiding in the laundry basket under the owner’s desk.
Only viewers with 20/20 vision can see the strange penguin in this image.
There are over 100 flightless birds in the image, so it might take a while.
