Miranda Kerr Shares Romantic Photo of the Moment She Met Now Husband Evan Spiegel

Miranda Kerr recalls how her romance with Evan Spiegel began.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the mom-to-be, 40, shared a photo from a 2014 Louis Vuitton event where she met her now-husband.

“On this day in 2014, fate (and @louisvuitton) brought Evan and I together for dinner at MOMA in New York City. The magical moment we met was captured 📸 9 years ago🥹🌈💌,” Kerr wrote in the caption . The video shows Kerr smiling as she shakes hands with Spiegel.

In the comments section, Teresa Palmer highlighted the chemistry between Kerr and Spiegel, writing, “This is amazing!!! I can see the vibes are already bubbling ❤️❤️.” Spiegel, 33, opened up about their first meeting in a July 2022 interview Vogue Australia.

“I had a great time at dinner with a lovely woman, but I thought I had no chance. I gave her my number because she was moving into a new house. I said, ‘If you need help with technical stuff, send me a message’. I didn’t expect to hear that,” Siegel told the newspaper.

“Then, about a month later, she was in Asia [cue some after work karaoke and sake for courage]and I remember waking up in the morning, turning the phone over and saying, ‘No way,'” he added.

Since Kerr split from ex-husband Orlando Bloom in 2013, she told the magazine that she was “going through a pretty challenging phase” and “didn’t really believe in love anymore” when they first met.

“He was so patient with me. Our relationship slowly developed. And we established a beautiful friendship before we became boyfriend and girlfriend. I never even thought that this kind of love was possible,” she said.

“Meeting someone with whom I connected so well and who is constantly working on herself every day like I am working on myself to be the best partner, the best mother, that she constantly wants to grow and develop, that’s something we’re both really committed to. And it’s really amazing to have a partner who wants to grow with you in the same direction,” she continued.

After first meeting, Kerr and Spiegel announced their engagement in July 2016 and married in an intimate backyard ceremony in May 2017.

In September, the couple announced that they were expecting their third child together. The couple are already parents to sons Myles (4) and Hart (5). Kerr is also mother to son Flynn, 12, whom she shares with Bloom.
