A UK woman has been charged with murdering her four children after they died in a house fire in London.
According to a press release from the Metropolitan Police on Sunday, Deveca Rose, 29, was charged with four counts of manslaughter on November 9. She was also charged with child abandonment.
Two pairs of twins, Leyton and Logan Hoath, 3, and Kyson and Bryson Hoath, 4, died after a fire in the Sutton area of south London in December 2021.
Firefighters took the four brothers out of the house during the “heavy fire” and gave them CPR, the BBC reports.

The four children were then taken to two hospitals in south London where they were pronounced dead.
Rose will appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court in London today, according to the Met Police.
In a statement, police added that they “realize the significant impact on the local community following this devastating incident.”

According to a British newspaper Timeneighbors said Rose was out shopping when the fire was discovered shortly before 7 p.m. local time in December 2021.
According to the publication, the caregiver said in a statement at the time that she would “never get over” the loss of her sons.
“Bryson, Kyson, Logan and Leyton were my boys, they were my babies, they were my life, they were my world,” she said. “They were my heart; they were my soul, they were everything. It’s all so surreal. I can’t function.”
“They will never be here again and I will live with that for the rest of my life,” she added.
The twins’ father, Dalton Hoath, 28, also said in a statement at the time, per Time: “They were bright, caring, sweet boys, but above all sons, brothers, grandsons, great-grandsons, nephews and cousins.”
