The trio were loaded into separate police vans
Little Sara, 10, was found dead at her home in Woking, Surrey, on August 10.
Urfan and Batool left Britain with his brother Faisal Malik and their five children, aged between one and 13, the day after her death.
Officers met the couple at Gatwick Airport this evening as soon as their plane landed.
The footage showed police entering the plane as soon as it landed while police vans waited on the runway below.
The trio were then put into separate vans before being taken for questioning about Sarah’s murder.
Police revealed tonight that they were arrested on suspicion of murder.
A police spokesman said: “Our investigation into the death of 10-year-old Sara Sharif was launched following the discovery of her body at her home address in Hammond Road, Woking, on August 10.
“At approximately 7.45pm this evening, three people were arrested in connection with this investigation at Gatwick Airport.
“Two men aged 41 and 28 and a woman aged 29 were arrested on suspicion of murder after disembarking from a flight from Dubai. They are currently in custody and will be notified in due course.
“Sarah’s mother has been informed of this latest update and is receiving specialist support. Our thoughts remain with her and those affected by Sarah’s death at this very difficult time.
“This has been an extremely fast-paced, challenging and complex investigation and we remain absolutely committed to conducting a thorough investigation into Sarah’s death.”
Interpol had earlier launched an international manhunt for the trio with police in Pakistan liaising with officers in the UK.
On Wednesday morning, Urfan and Beinash traveled on an Emirates flight from Sialkot in the Punjab province to Dubai.
Pictures show the couple at Sialkot airport with Urfan’s brother going through passport control.
It comes after Surrey Police said on Tuesday they were working to bring Sarah’s five siblings back safely from Pakistan after a court ruled the children would be temporarily moved to a state-run childcare facility.
The force said it was co-operating with Surrey County Council and international authorities after the Pakistani court handed down the verdict.

It is unclear where the children will eventually be sent or how long they may be held at the facility.
The children, aged between one and 13, traveled to Pakistan with Mr Sharif, Ms Batool and Mr Malik.
The children were carried into court by family members for about 40 minutes on Tuesday before being moved to another court as authorities tried to decide their next steps, the BBC reported.
Sarah’s grandfather Muhammad Sharif said he hid the children in his house, but did not specify for how long.
It comes after a video emerged last week of Sharif and Batool reading a statement of horror together.
Batool said her family was “prepared to cooperate with the UK authorities and fight our case in court” – but resented the conditions in which they were living.
Batool also said her family is hiding because “they are all afraid for their safety.”
She added: “Children cannot go to school because they are afraid to leave the house. Nobody leaves the house.
“The provisions have run out and there is no food for the children because adults cannot leave their homes for fear of safety.”
How the events unfolded:
- August 17 – Sara Sharif’s body found with “multiple and extensive” injuries after her father Urfan called 911 from Pakistan
- August 19 – International manhunt launched as Surrey Police name Sarah’s father, stepmother and uncle in connection with her death
- August 23 – Uncle claims Sara “fell down the stairs and broke her neck” before family deny giving statement
- August 29 – Inquest hears Sarah’s death “probably unnatural”
- September 6 – Sarah’s stepmother says the family wants to “fight our case in court”
- September 7 – Pakistani police raid 20 homes in Jhelum and Mirpur to retrieve Sara’s relatives
- September 9 – the police arrest ten of Sara’s close relatives in order to put pressure on Urfan
- 11 September – Police find five children believed to have traveled to Pakistan with Urfan
- 13 September – Urfan and Sara’s uncle and stepmother thought they were returning to the UK
It was the first time the couple had appeared since they disappeared in Pakistan.
Sarah’s body was discovered after Sharif called 999 from Pakistan.
The opening of the inquest into Sara’s death last week revealed that doctors have still not been able to determine the cause of death.
But Woking Coroner’s Court was told the young man’s death was likely to be “unnatural”.
A previous autopsy revealed she had suffered “multiple and extensive injuries that likely occurred over a prolonged and extended period of time.”
