In 2016, we were supposed to go to Spain for IIFA. But before that, my girlfriends and I decided to go backpacking somewhere nearby. So, we ended up in Switzerland. That’s when I met Maik, who was my Airbnb host. We hit it off right away. Six months later, he proposed to me on Christmas Eve, and I said yes. It was freezing cold. I didn’t know if I was shaking because of the cold or because he proposed to me (laughs).”
She also added,
The day Maik was coming to India for registration was hilarious. We thought we were not going to get married. Maik came to India without a visa. Some idiot told him he didn’t need a visa because he had a German passport. He was not allowed in. He was kicked out of India. And I was waiting at the registration office.”
