‘Much-loved’ couple in their 20s die together in horror car smash as family pay tribute and police launch urgent probe

A COUPLE died together in a horror car crash as their family paid tribute.

Katie Worrell, 25, and Adam Muskett, 27, were involved in a two-vehicle collision on the A477 at around 4pm on June 13.

Two cars were involved in the collision – a black Jaguar and a black Ford Fiesta.

A statement from Katie’s family said: “Katie was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and cousin.

“She lived life to the fullest, loved to travel and achieved so much in such a short time, graduated and worked hard.

“She loved her friends and Adam beyond words. Katie was kind, caring and beautiful and our lives will never be the same without her.”

Two other people, aged 27 and 33, were taken to hospital from the scene of the crash between Llanddowr and Red Roses with non-life threatening injuries.

Adam’s family also released a statement saying: “Adam, our beloved son, brother, grandson and nephew.

β€œHe loved life, his friends, Tenby, football and Katie very much.

“How will we go on without you, your big kind heart and cheeky smile.

– We are heartbroken and forever proud.

Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Anyone traveling on the A477, in or near that location at the time, should contact the police.

“Investigating officers would particularly like to speak to any drivers who were in the area at the time and who have a dashboard camera in their vehicles.”
