The 2024 Nama Awards, held in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, celebrated excellence in the arts with the theme #KWAN22. Despite the cancellation of the stand-up comedy category, the event highlighted Namibia’s vibrant music industry. Talented musicians, producers and songwriters gathered to showcase their creativity and receive prestigious awards.
With more than 1,280 entries received, the Nama Awards recognize exceptional talent in a variety of categories, including Best Male Artist, Best Female Artist and Album of the Year.
The ceremony included exciting performances by renowned artists, who captivated the audience with Namibia’s rich musical diversity. Additionally, the event provided a platform for emerging artists to gain recognition and inspire future innovations in the Namibian music scene.
