Naomi Campbell’s career continues to climb to new heights!
On Thursday, the iconic supermodel shared how honored she is to celebrate her contribution to the fashion industry with a new exhibition opening in London next year.
“I’m honored to be asked by the V&A to share my life in clothes with the world,” Campbell, 53, wrote on Instagram.

“The V&A fashion collection is one of the greatest in the world and it’s a blessing to work with them to share my story,” she continued.
Included in her post was a photo of the UK-born businesswoman standing in a black two-piece suit with striped trousers. Staying true to her signature look, her black hair was styled in a sleek middle parting.
Campbell was standing in the studio in the middle of the clothes for the painting.

“Congratulations to the queen of style!” commented fellow supermodel Cindy Crawford on the social media post.
Sex and the city actress Kristin Davis added, “This is so exciting and well deserved! I’m so happy that the world is experiencing more and more of the real you, in all your love and light✨✨✨✨✨⭐️🌟.”
Her exhibition, titled NAOMI, will be held at the Victoria and Albert Museum (commonly known as the V&A Museum) in South Kensington, London.

A statement on the exhibition’s home page calls it “The first exhibition of its kind to explore the remarkable career of model Naomi Campbell.”
“Through the work of the world’s leading designers and photographers, we celebrate her creative collaboration, activism and far-reaching cultural influence,” the statement continued.
Alongside Campbell’s retrospective, the V&A also held exhibitions paying tribute to the works of David Bowie and Kylie Minogue.

NAOMI will present selected items from her own wardrobe collection, plus approximately 100 pieces she has worn on the catwalks of luxury brands such as Alexander McQueen, Chanel and Vivienne Westwood.
“Naomi Campbell’s extraordinary career intersects with the best of high fashion. She is globally recognized as a supermodel, activist, philanthropist and creative collaborator, making her one of the most prolific and influential figures in contemporary culture. We are thrilled to be working with Naomi Campbell on this project and celebrate her career with our audience,” Sonnet Stanfill, the V&A’s senior curator of fashion, said in a statement.
The exhibition will also feature the infamous Westwood heels that Campbell wore when she walked (and tripped) the runway in 1993.
The shoes will live on as a permanent exhibit of the museum.

Campbell’s exhibit is scheduled to open next summer, June 22, 2024, and tickets will be available soon. Those who choose to become members of the V&A Museum can enjoy free access to the upcoming exhibition as well as other freshly curated content the venue has to offer.

Soon after, she starred alongside Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington in a four-part Apple TV+ documentary series Super modelswhich was published at the end of September.
