CBSE Semester 2 Accounting Syllabus – Grade 11

Revised NCERT Textbooks: The National Council for Education Research and Training (NCERT) will develop new textbooks in line with the National Education Policy, NEP 2020. These books will be introduced from study 2024-25. Students will experience new books after a gap of more than two decades.

NCERT textbooks have undergone streamlining for the years 2021-2022. Given the importance of student health during and after the COVID-19 outbreak, this mandatory action has been taken to reduce the amount of content learned in the classroom. The goal is to develop a curriculum that is more manageable and supports students’ mental health.

NCERT announced on its official Twitter: “The rationalization of NCERT textbooks implemented in 2021-22 is a need-based exercise aimed at offloading content, keeping in mind the mental health of students. students during the COVID pandemic and its consequences.”

“Rationalization textbooks are part of this transition period, i.e. only in this 2023-24 school year, as NCERT participates in the finalization of the National Curriculum Framework for General Education (NCERT). NCF-SE) based on NEP 2020. Next is the preparation of a new set of textbooks to be used from the next school year. So it’s clear that these books don’t last for a long time,” it added.

NCERT removes the periodic table from layer 9

In addition, NCERT recently removed the periodic table from 9th grade textbooks. The decision itself divided the population into supporters and opponents. Some criticized the decision, while some new book references indicate that the board has been moved to the 11th grade curriculum.

Opinions differ on this decision, and a review of the revised curriculum and program will give a clear picture of the changes made.
