NEET PG Counseling 2023: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has released a notification allowing candidates to change their nationality from Indian to NRI for NEET PG Round 3 counselling. Those who wish to do so will have to submit the said documents by 22 September 2023 to participate in the 3rd round of NEET PG counselling.

The advisory committee informed the candidates that mail received before or after the specified time will not be considered. “We advise candidates to send all the attached documentation exclusively by one post, within the stipulated time. Mail received in pieces and in duplicate will not be considered.” it added.

How to change citizenship from Indian to NRI for NEET PG Round 3 counselling?

The Medical Counseling Commission (MCC) has issued a notification for candidates allowing them to convert to NRI status. To do this, candidates who claim to be NRI and want to change their citizenship from Indian to NRI can submit their application by tomorrow. They should send their relevant documents in support of their request to change their citizenship from Indian to NRI through email [email protected].

Also, emails received in pieces and in duplicate will not be considered. Those who have already qualified for NEET PG round 3 counseling earlier and converted to NRI need not resubmit their documents.

Documents required for change of citizenship for 3rd round of NEET PG 2023 counselling

Candidates are requested to send the below mentioned documents to the given mail ID for change of citizenship from Indian to NRI. View the list of documents required to change citizenship:

  • Documents claiming that the sponsor is an NRI (passport, visa of sponsored person)
  • Relationship of the NRI with the candidate as per the court order
  • Declaration of the sponsor that he/she will sponsor the entire fee for the candidate’s course, notarized
  • Confirmation of the sponsor from the embassy (confirmation from the consulate)
  • NEET score card of the candidate
  • Along with the attached documents, candidates will also have to mail a declaration that they are applying for category conversion from Indian to NRI for NEET PG Counseling 2023 and that they have cleared the NEET PG exam and are eligible for counselling.
