She began her career at JWT (J. Walter Thompson) advertising agency, where she served as Senior Art Director for nearly 12 years. In 2006, she joined the TV puppet show “Galli Galli Sim Sim” as a writer, which was broadcast on DD National. When a reporter asked her how she started her career as a stand-up comedian, she said:
I remember I was in the improv show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” 》fans. I attended the Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood show in India and they needed volunteers for every round. I was asked to take part in the sound effects round and I did the sound effects for Colin while they were performing a scene. As I walked off the stage, Colin said, “An innocent face has bitten a devil!” He was the one who suggested I try stand-up comedy. “
In November 2012, he participated in the RAW comedy competition sponsored by OZ fest and won the championship. In 2013, she started posting stand-up comedy videos on her YouTube channel and gained huge popularity. In 2014, she wrote the script of the Bollywood film O Teri. She has appeared in numerous comedy network television series, including “Comedy Central Talk Show, Asia!” (2016), “Comedy Late” (2017), “Comic Stan” (2019) and “Almost Sanskari” (2019).
