A former nanny who worked for Neil Gaiman and his alienated wife Amanda Palmer filed a federal lawsuit against the author on charges of trading people under the Law on Protection of Victims of Trade. The nanny, Scarlett Pavlovich, also accused Gaiman (64) of sexual abuse, attack, rape and coercion.
Pavlovich is one of several women who accused Gaiman of sexual abuse. In his litigation against Gaiman, also appointed by Palmer, Pavlovich has repeatedly accused him of sexual violence while working for Gaiman and Palmer in New Zealand. Gaiman’s alleged behavior was “intended to force sexual services and take free care of children from Scarlett by saying that if he does not do such work and services, he will suffer serious damage or physical restraint,” the appeal writes.
As for Palmer, the appeal states that the musician “recklessly neglected the fact that Scarlett would be forced to withstand commercial sexual acts committed by Gaiman.”
“Palmer was aware enough that Gaiman would probably aim to Scarlett that she warned Gaiman to keep herself away from Scarlett before bringing Scaiman’s house to Gaiman’s house as a guard,” he writes. “Still, Palmer never warned Scarlett of the famous danger set by Gaiman. Pavlovich asks for the damages to be determined at the trial.
