Diab announced the news on Instagram with a photo of Kaepernick and their baby lying together in a hospital bed. The title of the post reads:
“I thought for a long time about revealing the news that changed our lives today. I chose it because this is the first day in several weeks that I went to work with a new title – MOM! Colin and I welcomed our wonderful child into the world a few weeks ago and are overjoyed to be adding to our family.”
Diab also said that postpartum recovery is a process she would not discuss because it is personal for them. She said that Colin is the most amazing parent and that she posted it to allow her to connect with everyone in ways she never expected.
The radio and television presenter continued:
“My relationships and life experiences have already changed. And our precious little baby, who showed me how to love in ways I never thought existed, has made my world so much better.”
Nessa concluded her message by thanking everyone for their help.

Nessa Diab, 38, was born on May 6, 1984 to Egyptian parents and practices Islam. Diab worked as an intern at San Francisco Bay Area station Wild 94.9 Top 40 after graduating from the University of California with a degree in public communications. She started her own program, The Baydestrian Report, and became known for interviewing celebrities on Wild 94.9 and YouTube.
