San Francisco 49ers star Kyle Juszczyk might be the one in the NFL playoffs, but it’s his wife Kristin who has been making headlines in recent weeks for her designs worn by Taylor Swift, Simone Biles and more.
On Tuesday, Kyle, 32, told reporters, including The Athleticthat it has been “pure joy” to watch his wife Kristin, 29, and her designer brand explode online.
After Swift, Biles and Brittany Mahomes wore her NFL-inspired apparel last weekend, the 49ers quarterback flooded social media with praise for his wife’s brand. Kyle responded to a handful of posts on X about Kristina’s work — which often involves her remaking t-shirts and jerseys into custom game-day looks — giving her credit in the comments and making sure she gets credit.
“He’s been trying for years and he’s been working so hard,” Kyle smiled, standing in front of his 49ers locker in a video shared by reporter David Lombardi. “I’m so happy to see her bring her stuff out, everyone sees it and recognizes it’s hers.”

Kyle said his wife sometimes puts “20 hours alone” into one jacket, which often features a collage of a particular NFL team’s logo and a combination of player jerseys.
Swift wore a jacket inspired by the No. 87 of the Kansas City Chiefs of her boyfriend Travis Kelce, while Mahomes donned a jacket with jersey No. 15 Chiefs Patrick Mahomes wife. Additionally, Biles was seen wearing a Green Bay Packers jacket emblazoned with husband Jonathan Owens’ No. 34.
Even Twilight actor Taylor Lautner reached out to Kristin for a custom Detroit Lions jacket, which he wore during Sunday night’s game.

“Sometimes I wake up at 3 or 4 in the morning and she’s not in bed, she’s downstairs working,” Kyle told reporters.
“I’m so proud of her,” the athlete continued. “I think she’s extremely talented, and the stuff she puts out there is unique.”
He added: “I just wanted to make sure she got that credit. At first the announcers said, ‘Taylor Swift can make Nike do anything!’ And I said: ‘Ah, come on! We have to let people know that this is all Kristin.’ I’m really happy to see that she got that credit.”

Kyle was coy when reporters asked him what his wife had planned for this weekend and which celebrities might wear her now-famous jackets to Saturday and Sunday’s NFL Playoff Divisional Round games.
However, he revealed that Kristin may soon be teaming up with a bigger jacket brand. “All the companies approached her,” Kyle said. “He has all the options on the table right now. It’s going back and forth with a couple of companies and some good things are going to come out of it.”
