“Her middle name is inspired by family,” the ‘Bachelor’ alum tells PEOPLE
Nick Viall and his fiancee Natalie Joy are getting closer to meeting their baby girl.
While talking to PEOPLE about his partnership with Mucinex to introduce Mucinex Kickstart—a powerful multi-symptom reliever for colds and flu with a morning jolt of an instant cooling sensation that helps him get through the days— Bachelor The alum, 43, shared how excited he and Joy, 25, are to name their daughter.
“We haven’t shared it yet, but we feel good about it,” host The Viall files he says. “Her middle name is inspired by family and her first name is a name that Natalie came up with and I thought it was great and we kind of stuck with it.”

Viall also says that he and Joy are currently putting the finishing touches on their nursery. While he didn’t reveal details about the room, he says they’re “pretty much done with the hard work.”
“We are ready when she is ready,” he adds.
As Viall and Joy count down the days until their little one arrives, the reality star says she’s looking forward to “all the first things I get to experience with her.”
“It’s super exciting. Even if I don’t sleep, I’m sure I’ll want to sleep at some point. But right now, I’m just excited about being a dad.”
Reflecting on the couple’s pregnancy journey, Viall admits that it was challenging to plan the wedding and prepare for the baby at the same time. However, Viall notes that his job was easy.
“Natalie, she’s the one who’s pregnant,” he says. “You know, she’s going through a lot of new beginnings and experiences. So I feel lucky that she’s with me. I’m just trying to support her and make sure she feels good.”

The podcast host and his pregnant fiancee shared the gender of their baby on the way in a sweet reveal in September.
Sharing a video of Viall popping a black balloon that sent pink confetti and pink balloons across the room, he wrapped his arms around Joy, who laughed and leaned into him.
“Baby Viall is….🤍,” Joy captioned her post.
In the comments, Viall joked about what his future daughter’s first words might be. “Her first word will be…Boundaries.”
The couple, who got engaged in January, first announced the pregnancy news in August.
