Nicolas Cage Rocks Leather Biker Look for Special Screening of Dream Scenario – See the Pics!

Nicolas Cage is all fired up!

On Tuesday, the 59-year-old actor dressed up for a special screening of his latest film, A dream scenarioat the Beyond Fest Film Festival.

The A dream scenario star joined the Los Angeles festival in a biker-inspired leather ensemble. He wore black leather baggy pants adorned with gold zippers and a silver studded leather belt.

He paired the pants with a black moto leather jacket that featured the same gold zippers as well as patches with different embroidery — including an oversized safety pin print, a “THRASH” patch on the right side of the torso with an image of hands with the middle finger raised. The hem of the jacket was accented with an oversized belt with a gold buckle as a clasp to close the garment.

Cage completed the look with crocodile-print leather shoes and oversized orange sunglasses with gold metal frames.

Cage surprised the crowd at Beyond Fest in Los Angeles earlier this week when he stopped by to join in A dream scenario’screenwriter and director, Kristoffer Borgli, for a special question and answer session.

Cage’s latest film, which he co-produced, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in early September. The surreal comedy stars Julianne Nicholson, Michael Cera, Tim Meadows, Dylan Gelula, Dylan Baker and veteran lead actor Paul Matthews.

A dream scenario follows Paul, a university professor, whose life “is turned upside down when millions of strangers suddenly start seeing him in their dreams,” according to the official synopsis. “But when his nightly appearances take a terrifying turn, Paul is forced to manage his newfound stardom.”

Tim Burton reacts to Nicolas Cage’s Superman cameo in ‘The Flash’ after they failed to make a movie together

After the premiere, Cage spoke with PEOPLE and shared what recurring figure he looks forward to seeing in his dreams: his late father, Augusto Coppola.

“I always love it when my dad shows up,” he said at the Sept. 9 event. “I haven’t seen him in person since he passed away. So when he shows up, it’s always a good thing.”

As for reviving his never-before-seen role as the Man of Steel, Cage joked USA Today, “Well, I was glad I didn’t blink,” after noticing how quick his cameo was. “For me, it was a sense of actualization. Even that look of that particular character, when I finally saw him on screen, it was satisfying. But like I said, it’s fast,” he added.
