NIGEL Farage has told how he was shocked after the parents of his daughter’s long-term boyfriend were arrested in a drugs raid.
His youngest child Izzy, 18, is dating Jack McKenna, who is also 18.

Jack’s parents admitted drug offenses after police raided their home in south-east London.
Last night TV presenter Nigel, 59, said: “As a family we are all in shock over this.”
Nigel Farage last night backed his daughter’s boyfriend.
Darren McKenna and Lacey Tilley pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
Their 18-year-old son Jack has been in a relationship with Nigel’s daughter Izzy for two years.
The young couple were pictured together in Australia during Nigel’s recent appearance on I’m a Celebrity.
Nigel said of Jack: “He’s a nice lad with no record with the police or any problems at school.
“He can’t help where he’s coming from, and neither can any of us, it’s obviously a very difficult situation.
“I’m the least snob in the world, we all come from different backgrounds and a child deserves every opportunity.”
“Izzy and Jack are very good together, they are very young but they are good together.
“This has been a shock to everyone involved, but I don’t want this to affect the rest of Jack’s life.
“I will not judge the boy in any way.”
Jack’s parents were arrested by Met Police officers at their £500,000 family home in Bromley, south-east London, on October 6 last year.
Izzy and Jack stayed together on the property.
It was learned that Jack’s grandmother’s home — where he and his father regularly stayed — was also raided.
Nigel, 59, said: “I knew there had been a few ups and downs and Jack had spent quite a bit of time staying at his grandmother’s house.
“But I didn’t quite know what was going on.”
He added: “As a family we are all in shock over this. It was all hidden from me, I had no idea.”
Earlier this month, Jack flew to Australia with Izzy to support her as she prepared to greet former Ukip boss Nigel as he left the jungle.
Nigel said he was “happy” to pay for Jack’s return flights.
Izzy — whose mother is Farage’s estranged second wife Kirsten Mehr — met Jack through mutual friends.
But now Jack faces the prospect of seeing his parents in prison for up to ten years.
They are due to appear in court in Woolwich, south-east London, next month.
His father, 38, is being held at category A prison HMP Belmarsh.
The McKenna and Farage families grew closer as Izzy and Jack’s romance blossomed.
Izzy lives with mum Kirsten in Oxted, Surrey — a 30-minute drive from Jack’s home.
Kirsten visited the McKenna home for pickup and drop off.
Mr Farage said of Jack: “I got to meet him, he’s a good lad, he’s got ambition, he’s a bright kid who works hard and is very polite.
“After talking to Izzy about this, it’s clear that Jack wants to succeed in his life and is determined that his path will be very different from where he came from.”
Last night a source close to the McKenna family told The Sun: “Jack is really upset, his mum and dad could be sent away for years.
“Jack is a nice guy and hasn’t been involved in anything criminal, but he’s worried about his parents.
“Jack and Izzy are very close, they had a great time in Australia — they went to the water park and the beach together.
“Izzy stays at Jack’s house regularly and her mom was there for a long time.”
When Izzy was interviewed about her father on I’m A Celebrity, she said she was “incredibly proud” of him during the emotional reunion.
She said: “It was so refreshing to see you as you are for once. Everyone at home is amazed, shocked, but in the best way.”
Farage has a second daughter Victoria (23) with Kirsten and two sons with first wife Gráinne Hayes — Samuel (34) and Thomas (32).
Farage said in 2014 that he “hated” drugs, that he had never taken them himself and that he had experienced the harm they can do to young people.
But while he disapproves of drug use, he said they should be decriminalized in line with progressive nations like Portugal.
The Ukip leader at the time said: “I personally think the war on drugs was lost many, many years ago and the lives of millions of people in Britain are made miserable by the huge criminal element surrounding the illegal drug trade.”
