The order was signed on December 18th, which means they should be made public anytime from January 1st onwards unless anyone complains.

The 40 documents could reveal further details of Ms Sjoberg’s meetings with Andrew — which have already cast him in a very unsavory light.

She claimed he groped her breasts at Jeffrey Epstein’s New York mansion in March 2001, when she was 21, while he was playing with a Spitting Image doll of himself — a gift from Epstein’s lover Ghislaine Maxwell.

Ms Sjoberg also appears to support Virginia Giuffre (formerly Roberts) who claimed she had sex with Andrew in 2001 when she was just 17.

The Duke of York denied the allegations and reached an out-of-court settlement with Ms Roberts.

In a statement, Ms Sjoberg said of her trip to Epstein in 2001: “I just remember someone suggesting a photo and we were told to sit on the couch. And so Virginia and Andrew sat on the couch and put the doll on her lap.

“And so I sat on Andrew’s lap, I believe of my own free will, and they took the doll by the arms and put it on Virginia’s breast and so Andrew put his on mine.”

It was all done “in jest” and “everyone was laughing,” Ms. Sjoberg said.

The new documents relating to Ms Sjoberg — now a 42-year-old hairdresser who lives near Palm Beach, Florida — are among hundreds of files on 177 people.

They were part of Ms Giuffre’s 2015 US defamation case against Ghislaine Maxwell.

That case was resolved, but the media demanded that the documents be published.

They are put into circulation from 2019.

Ms. Sjoberg has already been identified because of a story about her from 2021 that Judge Preska cites as a reason why she should not remain anonymous.

Ms. Giuffre sued Andrew in 2021 for abuse and infliction of emotional distress.

They settled in February 2022 for a reported £10 million, although he has always denied any wrongdoing and said in an interview with the BBC that he never remembered meeting Ms Roberts.

Maxwell, 60, is serving a 20-year prison sentence on charges that include sex trafficking of a minor.
