Kalengada Bhemaiah Chinapa aka Nikhil Chinapa is an Indian disco jockey, radio jockey, video jockey and actor. He is best known for being a judge on the youth reality show “Roadies.”

Nikhil spent his childhood in various cities as his father served in the Indian Army. He studied at Begumpet’s Hyderabad Public School in Hyderabad, Faust High School in Secunderabad and St. Joseph’s Boys’ High School in Bangalore. Afterwards, he went to St. George’s College, Agra, to pursue a bachelor’s degree in architecture. Nikhil also studied at BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore. Nikhil Chinapa started his VJ career in 1992 with “MTV Select”. He then hosted a popular weekly show called “Together” on Sunday evenings at www.tgtr.in.

Nikhil made his silver screen debut in 2000 with the Hindi film Snip. Next, he made brief appearances in films like Dus (2005), Zinda (2006) and Om Shanti Om (2007). He has hosted and judged several shows, including Fame X with Ganesh Hegde and Daler Mehendi, two seasons of India’s Got Talent with Ayushmann Khurrana, and MTV Rock On.
