tax evasion charges
On November 10, 2022, BJP leader Sandeep G. Varier accused Nimisa of tax evasion of about Rs. 2.065 million. According to Varier, Nimisha’s hidden income is Rs. 114 crore, the state GST intelligence department summoned her. However, Nimisha’s mother later denied the allegations and said that Nimisha did not register for GST initially and when the tax was due, she applied for it in 2020-21 and settled the issue.
