Nishant Dahiya was born on Friday, January 4, 1991, in Mohau, Madhya Pradesh (age 29; as of 2020). His father is a retired Indian Army officer, so he traveled to various parts of India with his father during his childhood. He pursued B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Kurukshetra University, Haryana. While in college, he became interested in modeling. So, he auditioned for Mr. Grasim India (2006) and ended up as runner-up and also won the title of Mr. Best Smile and Most Photogenic. He is confident of his achievements and further plans to pursue a career in modeling. He later moved to Mumbai to fulfill his desire to become an actor.

After Nishant completed his studies, he worked as a model in Mumbai. He started with various commercials and TV commercials. After appearing in several commercials, he tried his hand at acting and first got an opportunity with Yash Raj Films.

He made his acting debut in the 2011 Bollywood film Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge, where he played the role of ‘Rahul Sareen’. He subsequently bagged roles in several films such as Titoo MBA in 2014 where he played the protagonist Titoo, Meri Pyaari Bindu in 2017, Kedarnath in 2018, Rat Akeli Hai in 2020 and the upcoming “83” will be released in 2021. He is said to be playing the role of former Indian cricketer Roger Binny, also known as the “main wicket-taker of the ’83 World Cup” in the film.
