On Thursday, September 5, Noah took a page from sister Miley’s style book. The 24-year-old singer and actress stepped out for a performance at So & So’s Piano Bar in New York with a drastically different look than her usual dark locks.

Noah replaced her previous black hair with a shoulder-length blonde hairstyle with short bangs and plenty of bouncy curls, channeling not only her older sister, but also classic Hollywood stars like Marilyn Monroe. She also sported a glamorous smoky eye and nude lip color.

The singer kept her outfit simple with a fitted strapless brown dress, showing off the countless tattoos on her arms.

The hairstyle is reminiscent of Miley’s look — specifically the style she wore to the 2024 Grammys. At the time, the 31-year-old’s longtime hairstylist Bob Recine told PEOPLE that they “wanted to create [something] different than last year, with a style that felt like it was from the 70s, Barbarella feels while still having a modern, punk edge.”

He continued: “By creating a big updo, leaving some of the tease visible, it allows the look to keep a fresh, sexy feel.

Recine also told Byrdie that the teased look was inspired by ’70s icon Raquel Welch.

At the awards show, Miley not only rocked a whopping five different outfits — she also won her first two Grammy Awards and performed her hit song “Flowers.”

The distinct Miley vibe of Noah’s look wasn’t lost on fans. In the comments section of an Instagram video captured by PEOPLE of the singer’s performance at So & So’s, users were quick to point out the similarities.

“For a second I thought it was Miley!!!!” wrote one.

“Is this really Noah?? Not Miley?? ❤️🔥🙌👏,” said another.

A third wrote, “Dolly vibes 👏,” referring to Miley’s godmother Dolly Parton, who the Disney Channel student cited as a big influence.
