NORDIC citizens have been given terrifying war survival guides as nations on Putin’s doorstep prepare for World War III.
On Monday, millions of pamphlets landed in Swedish homes bearing the chilling headline: “If Crisis or War Comes,” as other nations issued their own dire advice to frightened citizens.

Stockholm warned of what it called a worsening security situation – otherwise known as Russia’s bloody invasion of Ukraine – and urged Swedes to prepare for conflict.
Meanwhile, neighboring Finland has posted its chilling advice online on how to prepare “for incidents and crises”.
In a terrifyingly detailed section on military conflict, the digital brochure describes how the government and president would respond in the event of an armed attack.
The Finnish brochure emphasizes that its authorities are “well prepared for self-defense.”
Norwegians also received a pamphlet urging residents to know how to fend for themselves for a week in the event of extreme weather conditions – or war.
In the summer, Denmark’s emergency management agency issued an alert to adult Danes detailing the water, food and medicine needed to get through the three-day crisis.
Sweden and Finland recently abandoned their neutrality to join NATO after witnessing Putin’s atrocities in Ukraine since 2022.
On the other hand, Norway was one of the founders of the Western Defense Alliance.
While Sweden and Norway did not shy away from warning residents about the war through pamphlets, the Finnish government in Helsinki decided not to print a copy for every home.
This is not because the fear is not prevalent, but because it would “cost millions” to print so many, while the digital version could be updated more easily.

Tore Kamfjord of the Norwegian Civil Protection Administration said: “We sent 2.2 million paper copies, one to every household in Norway.”
A long list of things to keep at home includes canned beans, energy bars and pasta.
In the event of a nuclear attack, iodine tablets have even been frighteningly added to the list of medicines.
Norway’s Oslo sent an earlier version back in 2018, which Kamfjord alluded to as being caused by extreme weather like floods and landslides – not war.
Swedes have long received brochures on civil emergencies, with the first edition called “If War Comes” produced during World War II before being updated during the Cold War.
But one terrifying message was moved from the middle of the booklet further forward.
It reads: “If Sweden is attacked by another country, we will never give up. All information that the resistance should end is false.”
And another tip from the guide explains how to respond to an attack with nuclear, chemical or biological weapons.

He warns: “Take cover in the same way as for an air attack.
“Shelters provide the best protection. After a few days, the radiation decreased sharply.”
Sweden has been slowly reducing its defenses since World War II, but it suddenly strengthened after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Finland, meanwhile, has been on guard for decades because of its long border with Russia and a horrific history with the Soviet Union in World War II that left scars on the republic.
Residents of Finland were forced to think about how to survive without electricity for many days in deadly winter temperatures of -20C.

Like Norway, Finland’s resident checklist also includes iodine tablets in case of a nuclear disaster.
All the Nordic countries are urging people to stock up on drinking water, canned food, medicine, heating, toilet paper, money and lamps and candles – and, if possible, keep the car full of gas.
The Baltics are also preparing for a future Russian invasion.
Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania signed an agreement in January this year to create a joint defense line to protect each other from future Russian attacks.
And in June, Europe wanted to build a massive 1,500-mile defense line to protect itself from Vladimir Putin’s chilling invasion.

Poland and the Baltics planned to create a £2.2 billion blockade to prevent Russia from advancing across the continent as World War II looms.
It comes as Volodymyr Zelensky issued a stark warning to his nemesis Vladimir Putin when he told the tyrant: “The missiles will speak for themselves.”
Joe Biden has long rejected Ukrainian leader Zelensky’s pleas to use Western-supplied weapons on Russian soil – fearing an escalation of the war.
But it is understood that the US president gave the go-ahead just two months before he leaves the White House.
American-supplied ATACMS missiles could first be used against Russian and North Korean troops in Kursk before being used against other targets.
Zelenski said today: “There is a lot of talk in the media about the fact that we have received permission for appropriate actions.
“But strikes are not carried out with words. Such things are not announced. The missiles will speak for themselves.”
Unnamed US officials said Kiev plans to launch its first long-range strikes in the coming days.
But with Donald Trump set to take over as president in two months, it is unclear whether he will support his predecessor’s policies.
