Norjuma was informed of the proceedings, but did not attend. Fame Up Entertainment filed a bankruptcy notice against Norjuma in August 2022 to force her to pay the amount, and a bankruptcy petition was filed against her in October 2022 after she failed to pay.
Efforts to arrest Norjuma, against whom a warrant was issued, failed because he was not at home. Fame Up Entertainment filed two defamation lawsuits against Norjuma in 2019 and 2020.
The process of issuing arrest warrants in the Kuala Lumpur and Shah Alam courts will continue, said Muhammad Hassanuddin Roslan, a representative of the company.
